The divorce proceedings of actor Ryu Shi Won have gone beyond messy.The prosecution has proposed an eight-month prison sentence for theactor who is accused of tracking, threatening and assaulting his wife.
Ryu Shi Won and Jo Soo In married in 2010 and they have a youngdaughter. Jo filed for divorce two years later, claiming to have 150audio recordings of the actor hitting and threatening her.
She began recording their conversations in May 2011, when the actorattached a GPS tracking device to her car, so that he could know whereshe was going. When she spoke to him about it, he became hostile.
According to one of the recordings, she says he threatened her,saying, “I’ll kill you. I know a lot of bad people. Wherever you go,whatever you do, I can get a picture of you. I’m someone you should bescared of.”
