2PM Members Speak Out About Photoshop Controversy

94033795

On the May 15 episode of MBC’s Radio Star, 2PM members spoke about the recent controversy surrounding a Tokyo Dome concert photograph that was photoshopped to make the crowd look bigger. Though the group had previously expressed their sorrow over the event, their interview on Radio Star was perhaps the most candid yet.

Taecyeon said that their photographs were taken care of by an outside company, and that the error was caused “While they were editing the colors, they pressed ctrl+C and ctrl+V.”

Jun.K added, “To be completely honest, the lightsticks blink on and off, and sometimes the photos can be taken when the lightsticks are turned off, and then, an empty space can appear, so the company thought, ‘Let′s fill those in.’”

The group members are still angry about the incident, and sad that it overshadowed what was otherwise a successful show.
