K-Pop wins big!
After the wrap up of this year’s MTV Video Music Awards Japan, the force of the K-Pop wave could be felt throughout the ceremony, with many favorites taking home a golden sumo. BIGBANG took home the sumo for Best Dance Video for FANTASTIC BABY -VER. FINAL-. 2PM won Best Album of the Year for LEGEND OF 2PM. Nicole of KARA was the performer to represent Korea during the event’s proceedings and performed her solo Japanese single, LOST. TVXQ was nominated for Best Group Video for Catch Me – If You Wanna -, but J Soul Brothers took the award instead for their songHanabi.
