The MTV Video Music Awards Japan surely had a star-studded lineup.
Not only were 2PM and Big Bang mixed into the casting but Kara‘s very own Nicole was on site for the awards as well. She, along with her bubbly personality, was more than approachable throughout the night. She excitedly walked the red carpet even cracking a joke here and there whilst walking up to a press member filming the activities. Dressed from head to toe in shimmering gold and a stylish blonde bob, the diva was absolutely stunning as she made her rounds.

Next let’s pop into the Red Lounge for an interview. For the first time outside of the Karasia Tour, Nicole will be performing her solo song Lost. The singer emphasizes her nerves but makes sure to let everyone know that she is equally excited about the performance. However, that was not Nicole’s favorite part of the evening. One of her biggest enjoyments came from talking with fans and signing autographs on the red carpet. It’s a refreshing reminder of the fan service and love that comes from such a wonderful artist. To no one’s surprise though, Nicole finishes out much of her interview in English. Giving us a look into her personal life by highlighting a favorite artist who just so happened to be joining the fun that night. Check out her interview inside the Red Lounge.
How can we let you go without at least a look at her performance? It looks to me like her nerves weren’t necessary in the least because when she takes the stage Nicole transforms into her confident idol persona again. With beautiful vocals and a sexy chair dance to go with the dance ballad, Nicole gives a flawless rendition of her solo song Lost. Not bad for her first time away from the girls, don’t you think?
